Lo nuevo de Tricky

La Salle boxing club, el gimnasio de boxeo regentado por Tricky en Paris, es el escenario elegido por el artista para rodar su último vídeo, “Murder Weapon”. Quizás la vida de Tricky no difiere mucho de las historias de la gente que se han dedicado al boxeo, salvo que en el caso de Tricky, la música le sacó de la calle y el boxeo se ha convertido en una simple afición, que le recuerda sus momentos duros.
Vídeo que adelanta el próximo single cuya fecha de salida será el próximo 30 de agosto.

""Murder Weapon" is a reworking of the classic dancehall hit from Jamaican-born Echo Minott, originally released in the early '90s. Tricky fell in love with the track and was determined to hear how it would sound with a female vocalist (in a similar fashion to his reworking of "Black Steel" with Martina Topley-Bird).

Tricky here enrolls Irish-Italian Franky Riley, who has toured as Tricky's vocalist for two years and makes her recording debut on his new album "Mixed Race".

"Mixed Race" is out the 27th of September in the UK and October 5th in the US.
